Memorials and the Memorial Garden

Unitarian Universalists honor those who have gone before us into the mysteries of death by providing a Memorial Garden. Here ashes may be scattered amidst the plantings during a brief interment ceremony. Additionally, a memorial plaque may be mounted on the tribute walls there.

Unitarian Universalists believe that none knows what, if anything, follows this life. Thus, our spiritual emphasis is on the joys and challenges of this life. Services of memorial are called "Celebration of Life," at which a person's full life is remembered and honored. These are simple, direct services, filled with deep love.

Please contact our Minister directly to discuss Memorial Services.
