Drum Song: The Art & Spirit of DrummingDate: Friday March 28 – Saturday March 29Hand drumming workshop led by nationally acclaimed artist and teacher Ubaka Hill for persons of all ages and skill levels. Ubaka’s vision and intention is to facilitate and inspire personal transformation, empowerment, healing and joy with music that moves you.

Details: Ubaka Hill composer, songwriter and recording artist weaves percussion, poetry and song to inspire her audiences to sing and dance with her. Ubaka plays her signature "Ube" drum, djembe drum and various other percussion instruments of different cultures. Her music is inspired by her appreciation of celtic, jazz, latin, african, shamanic, folkloric, aboriginal and contemporary music. It is at this time when light and darkness are in balance, yet the light is growing stronger by the day. At this time we think of renewing ourselves. We renew our thoughts, our dreams, and our aspirations. We think of renewing our relationships. Join us in as we celebrate renewal and new growth. Wine and cheese at 5:30 Potluck dinner 6:00 celebration to follow dinner.
