The purpose of this fund is to enhance the mission of our congregation beyond and apart from the general operations by receiving bequests and gifts of money, real and personal property to be held, invested, disbursed and administered in accordance with the wishes of the donors.

These assets have been provided by generous donations of transfers of stock, bonds, and other equities (including real estate), by designating the Endowment Fund as beneficiary of no longer needed life insurance, charitable remainder and other trusts and several bequests from member’s estates.  

Consideration of distribution favors non-recurring items not otherwise provided for and may be made for the following purposes:

•    Program Enhancement
•    Enhancement of Buildings and Grounds
•    Community Outreach
•    Developing the wider mission of the UUA

Members of the Committee are directly elected by the congregation to serve staggered overlapping terms and may not simultaneously serve in any other elected position.  Accepting, investing and distributing of assets is the independent responsibility of the committee.
