MOVE, or Making Our Voices Effective, is a completely youth powered social justice service and action group for youth. MOVE members created their own charter and bylaws. MOVE members focus on learning about social justice issues and creating a plan on how to advocate and build a more just society. The involved youth are taking Unitarian Universalist principles beyond the walls of the church and into the community at large. The three essential points of MOVE are education, advocacy, and volunteerism. MOVE is open to any youth ages 10+. One does not have to belong to a Unitarian Universalist family to join, and we are welcoming new members at any time.
