For animals as well as humans, play is universally necessary. Play shapes our cognitive development which in turn cultivates our inner narratives. Imaginary play even has the power to help us envision a model world. We try on possibilities through play. No doubt play becomes a fulcrum to whatever takes on meaning. So let us explore how play serves our spirits. Let us join our joy and curiosity together in all that we do. Let our life vocation be filled with such monkey business.
