Christian, Buddhist, Humanist, Earth-Centered... we all come together as one.
We enjoy having fun, such as at this Bardic Yule feast hosted by CUUPS.
The Humanist Group meets to share presentations on topics of interest.

Volunteering

Campus Gardeners

Tend our many ornamental, native, and edible gardens by helping with shrub trimming; exotic/invasive control, bed planting/mulching, flower bed rejuvenation/re-planting; starting seedlings in our potter’s bench for future bed plantings; harvesting native butterfly nectar plants for propagation on the ground, etc.

Holton Eco-Preserve

There are many interesting opportunities for service associated with the Holton Eco-Preserve. These opportunities can include, but are not limited to, helping with grounds maintenance, involvement in habitat restoration, light weeding grant writing, marketing, event planning, propagation and plant nursery maintenance, and nature trail development/maintenance. Come...be a part of maintaining and preserving this amazing greenspace!

The Music Committee

Do you love music? There are many ways to support our music program, for example, singing in the choir or playing an instrument in the band.

The Committee on Shared Ministry

The CoSM serves and ministers to both the members of the congregation and also to various other committees. It serves the congregation by observing and subsequently reporting on the functioning of the congregation’s various ministries. The committee acts in the role of an objective observational body. It offers the congregation and its standing committees a satellite or balcony view of the congregation’s functioning. Both positive observations as well as observation that suggest the need for improvement are noted. It also notes feedback from members of the congregation and reviews the congregation’s internal processes to ensure that the current organization is promoting the various ministries, and managing current problems and congregant recommendations that will promote the greater food of the congregation.

Member Services

The Membership Team welcomes and supports all newcomers, prospective members, and current members and friends who wish to engage in our community.  We assist our congregation in building and maintaining a welcoming, inclusive and dynamic community. There are many areas of service available to you within this vibrant ministry including greeting/ushering, assisting with the pre-service reception, following up with members, and much more. Testimonials From Members - Why I Became A Unitarian Universalist

Nancy Letts
"As a UU, my life underwent many changes. I found and nourished a deep connection to something greater than myself that I call Spirit, or Creator. I’m a grateful UU still committed to finding deeper meaning in my life and to acting on these expanding beliefs in ways that help myself and others."
